The other day, I took a walk around the farm. Actually, I was going to my aunt’s to take more pictures of Meadow, but I stopped to get some farm pictures on the way there. (All of the three minutes it takes to walk there…) Here’s what’s happening on the farm this month.
Raise your hand if you or somebody you know has already gotten sick this autumn. Uh-huh, that’s what I figured. Now how many of you have gotten away with a single cold this year?
I have. Last winter, actually, I didn’t get sick once and all year I’ve only had one cold…back in March. However, I’m not going to just sit here and gloat about it – I’m going to share my tips for staying well all winter long.
For this Valentine’s Day, I wanted to introduce one of my favorite flavor combinations: chocolate and mint. Truly by accident, when I was making lip balms a while ago, I put in too much cocoa butter. The result was that they tasted like chocolate. Not the best for grapefruit and ylang ylang, but very suitable for mint. How perfect a chocolate and mint lip balm would be for Valentine’s Day, don’t you think?
Muesli is definitely a favorite breakfast item in our house. It has gone from a long, overnight process to a quick stir of a few ingredients. However, it all tastes just about the same, either way. This is the short process recipe and is very easy to make. It is full of protein and enzymes from the yogurt, so it is very healthy for you!
Hello Ladies! Did you miss me while I was gone? I’m so sorry it’s been such a long time; I was extremely busy and when I did try to log in to make a new post, it wouldn’t let me! So I had to get my dad to reset my password for me. All that being said, I have a humongous amount of pictures for you! We got about foot of snow, too, this past week, so we’ve also been buried!
This is the first bit of snow that we got on Wednesday. That afternoon, I completely re-organized my craft closet and desk space! Life can finally go on now. 😛
