When we went up to Allison’s, I offered to do her family’s photos to thank them for letting us come and stay. I’m so glad I did because not only does her family have updated photos now, but I got to spend more time with them. ☺ It was SO HOT and we were all, unfortunately, dripping with sweat, but her parents and siblings were as chill as can be and were just NATURALS in front of the camera. They were the crowning glory of photo subjects!
Every family has something that makes them unique. Well, this one-of-a-kind family has not one, but several things that make it unique. Personally, I’m an authority on the uniqueness of this family – and I might even use a different word – crazy. I should know because I see this family just about every day, and I’ve seen six of these children within just hours of being born. I’ve watched almost every child take his first steps or talk his first word. I’ve held them all and supervised coloring activities. I’ve taken them on walks and played with them. I’ve fought over breakfast with them and sat with them as they do their school.
This lovely family contacted me for family pictures soon after I did the St. Jacques. Karen and her husband are moving out of the area and wanted some photos in places that are close to their hearts, after raising their four children in the area. We had so much fun! They were so low-key and willing to do whatever I asked. We took these pictures at their beautiful colonial home in Hendersonville. It has so many lovely backgrounds, I think I should do all my family sessions there! Continue reading
