Hello, my friends!
Today I have some awesome scrunchies to share with you all! Juuuuust in time for all your Christmas shopping, too! My friend Hannah from The Striped Plaid Co sent me a couple of her scrunchies from her Etsy shop, and being a big fan of scrunchies in general, I loved them. ALSOOO I got my hair colored a bit darker! Y’all will have to tell me what you think. Do you like it darker? Or lighter?
Howdy, folks! I thought I’d share with y’all today some of my favorite makeup products. These are things I use practically every time I put on makeup, and really love. It’s taken me three years to find products that are good quality and that I regularly use! I’ve tried a LOT, believe me. 😉
Hello!! I’m so excited to do this post! I’ve anticipated it for a whole month. Are you ready?
You might have guessed it already…..but spring is most definitely on its way over here in our Southeastern part of the U.S. The temperature has been rising steadily for about a week now. We’ve hit 72F already! (22C) Spring calls for pretty dresses, updos, and lighter makeup. Thus, this farm girl decided she’d show you what she recommends for lighter makeup. (Someday I might get to a hair post, but not being gifted with hair creativity, it shall take a while.)
This is what happens when you take pictures for a post but then forget to make that post.
For this Valentine’s Day, I wanted to introduce one of my favorite flavor combinations: chocolate and mint. Truly by accident, when I was making lip balms a while ago, I put in too much cocoa butter. The result was that they tasted like chocolate. Not the best for grapefruit and ylang ylang, but very suitable for mint. How perfect a chocolate and mint lip balm would be for Valentine’s Day, don’t you think?
Moisturizer is one of the most important skincare product to use in the fall and winter. However, there are a lot of misconceptions. A lot of people think that they don’t need moisturizer because their skin is already so oily. FALSE! Your skin will create more oil if it is dry, and the oil that your skin creates is bad oil which will cause acne. Hydrating your skin with moisturizer will keep it from creating so much of the bad oil. And especially this time of year, when the dryness in the air is drying everything out! (However, it’s a great time for curly hair!)
