I sure seem to be doing a fair amount of farm life posts now, don’t I? Actually, the pictures for this post and the last two I took all in the same day! Anyway, after we milked the cow, I decided to follow Eden feed the chickens, and oh my, the light was GORGEOUS! It was exactly how I love it and ahhhh, everything was so pretty. So heh heh, more pictures!
Hey you guys!
Things are growing so fast! We’ve been having such lovely weather out here on the farm and AGH, everything is sprouting up! Yesterday morning I went out real early – well, early for me – to try to get pictures of everything before the sun hit. But I wasn’t fast enough, so a good of these pics are sunny! But that’s okay. Here’s what is growing in the garden right now…
Hello, my dears! Today I have an absolutely gigantic load of flower pictures to share. All our trees have been blooming, and it’s been so gorgeous here! The other evening, I went down the hill to take pictures at golden hour, and it was so lovely. I can’t wait until our trees grow more, but for now, they’re still gorgeous. Are you ready?
It’s nearly April. I can’t believe it! Wasn’t it just yesterday that it was the end of February? Now it’s finally warming up, and all the world is anew with life. Especially my grandparents’ house.
Every year they host all our new little seedlings that we’ve planted. We improve our methods each year, and this year all the trays of sprouts are sitting on bread racks under growing lights. I’m not sure whether its the lights or the fish fertilizer (note: organic) they spray, but our sprouts grow awfully quickly.
Back in April, our apple trees were blooming! The whole orchard was white and pink and oh it was lovely. Unfortunately, our trees are rather small, but I can imagine the effect in ten years or so. April and May are my favorite spring months because everything is blooming and budding and it’s oh so very beautiful!
Hi y’all! I am finally back from my very long hiatus…in fact, it was more like a hibernation. XD The past couple of months have been really busy. My family and I went through a really hard time, but God sustained us with His grace and we are so thankful for our supportive friends and family. Now, summer has arrived on the farm and I am back!
