It’s been a really long time since I just posted a bunch of photography.
I mean, that’s probably understandable, right? I’ve been just a little busy, and get ready for a life ramble probably next week or so. 😉 HOWEVER. I have been taking pictures, and I learned some new stuff, and well…it’s about time I share it. So.
The other night I was so engrossed in Oliver Twist that I could not put my book down. Unfortunately, by the time I finished it, the hour was too late to shower. (Okay, I’m sorry. I am not meaning to rhyme.) But it was still relatively early, so I wanted something to do! I decided to try a hairstyle that I meant to try that morning but didn’t wake up early enough for.
Let’s just say that my hair always cooperates at night when it’s not very clean and that I can’t do a thing with it in the morning. What can one expect? But anyway, when I tried the hairstyle, it worked! I was so ecstatic that I decided to make a tutorial for it.
You might have guessed it already…..but spring is most definitely on its way over here in our Southeastern part of the U.S. The temperature has been rising steadily for about a week now. We’ve hit 72F already! (22C) Spring calls for pretty dresses, updos, and lighter makeup. Thus, this farm girl decided she’d show you what she recommends for lighter makeup. (Someday I might get to a hair post, but not being gifted with hair creativity, it shall take a while.)
In your teenage years, you will find that sooner or later, you will start to have some acne problems. I’ve had a few facials before and they have been really helpful in clearing up my skin, mainly blackheads. Of course, my acne always comes back. There’s nothing I can do to stop that, either. Because facials are rather expensive, and I need them pretty often, I figured out how to do one at home. You can give others this same facial, or do it on yourself. I suggest doing this every three weeks. This facial is modulated for the cold, dry, winter months. I will post a new facial once we get back the humidity.
I JUST GOT MY BRACES OFF!!!
Yes! After almost three years (since April of 2013) I finally have my white teeth back! No more turquoise, pink, or purple ones! I was sure everyone wanted to see, so here’s the picture:
With my favourite accessory, Luvems.
Now I’m going to talk a little bit about braces. I’ve had a lot of question concerning them from people who are getting braces soon. The most frequently asked questions are…
Moisturizer is one of the most important skincare product to use in the fall and winter. However, there are a lot of misconceptions. A lot of people think that they don’t need moisturizer because their skin is already so oily. FALSE! Your skin will create more oil if it is dry, and the oil that your skin creates is bad oil which will cause acne. Hydrating your skin with moisturizer will keep it from creating so much of the bad oil. And especially this time of year, when the dryness in the air is drying everything out! (However, it’s a great time for curly hair!)

I am a teenager. And, like most teenagers, I get acne. Blackheads, zits, ugh! But for a while now, I have gotten a lot less acne. And that is because I use Modern Mom Medicinals’ Acne line.
