An Adventure in Twinkle Light Photography

    aria-lisette-13-3

Hello, friends! Oh my goodness, I AM SO EXCITED TO SHARE THESE PICTURES WITH YOU. My aunt gave me some fairy lights and I had the brilliant idea to play around with some pictures in the dark. Well, I did. And guess what: I LOVED it! My friend Ceci was coming over to model for shoot and I had another brilliant idea: use her as a guinea pig to do cool stuff with fairy lights AND sunsets! And I did, and AHHH THE PICTURES TURNED OUT SO WELL.

A Walk in the Flower Garden

    where-poppies-blow-10

Hello, dears! (Sorry, Allison – I didn’t mean to copy your intro XD)

Life right now has been very interesting. Only a few of you know what’s going on, and for the rest of you who don’t – it’s not anything bad – it’s all good! But…well, they’re very life-changing things. One day, maybe, I’ll tell y’all what is going on, but until then, we’ll just say that I’ve been pretty busy. :) Not only that, but my photography business is really picking up right now too! I’m averaging a shoot a week, and while it’s been boatloads of fun, that’s also made my life busier. And also the garden is starting to come on!

All in all, that’s kind of the mini life update and explanation for why I took a bit of a hiatus. :) I probably won’t post quite as frequently for a while. But I am posting tonight!

    The Fruit of Our Labor

    where-poppies-blow-20

Well howdy there, folks! A couple weeks ago I took a little farm tour to see how things were growing, and boy, were they! Now they’re even bigger. O.o But since it was a cloudy day, I took my camera along and took pictures. Whilst I was searching for peaches, I found that the cherry trees that we planted four years ago are FINALLY producing, which was the cause of many exclamations on my end. We don’t have very many cherries this year and the birds have been eating most of them, but this is just the start.

Anyhoo, here’s what’s growing right now in the flower and fruit department.

Craggy Gardens, Mountain Laurels, and Other Random Photos

    where-poppies-blow-23

Hey guys! So I’m going to do this post a little differently – explain, then dump the pictures. XD Our mountain laurels have been blooming and they’re so beautiful! The mountain pictures are from a shoot I did at Craggy Gardens, one of my favorite places in Asheville, the cake I made for my mom for Mother’s day, and the rest are kind of just random. I hope you enjoy, and let me know what your favorite picture is! :) Now. On to the photos…

    Growing: May

    where-poppies-blow-35

    Hey you guys!

Things are growing so fast! We’ve been having such lovely weather out here on the farm and AGH, everything is sprouting up! Yesterday morning I went out real early – well, early for me – to try to get pictures of everything before the sun hit. But I wasn’t fast enough, so a good of these pics are sunny! But that’s okay. Here’s what is growing in the garden right now…

Hello, my dears! Today I have an absolutely gigantic load of flower pictures to share. All our trees have been blooming, and it’s been so gorgeous here! The other evening, I went down the hill to take pictures at golden hour, and it was so lovely. I can’t wait until our trees grow more, but for now, they’re still gorgeous. Are you ready?
