Hey hey, ladies! Wow, it’s been over ten days! I had a ton of life-related stuff going on and then descended into a mini slump – don’t worry, all my life stuff is good but rather time-consuming. However I AM BACK! And I have an awesome dress to show you guys today.
This fall, I’ve really been getting into maxi dresses. I’m not sure why…but I love how no-fuss they are and I don’t have to worry about my dress being too short or riding up when I sit down. Plus, there’s a graceful elegance to maxi dresses that you can acheive without hardly any trying. So when Piper & Scoot sent me this gorgeous dress to review, I was over the moon!
Hello, my friends!
Here I am again with another transitional outfit! The weather is STILL in the 80s here and that means that, although some people are pulling out their sweaters and boots, I’m still wearing summery clothes. However, I’m trying to tone it down and go with neutrals, as you can see here with this outfit!
Right now is kind of a weird season to be in. It’s not quite fall, but it’s not totally summer either, as the temperatures are starting to drop and the leaves are starting to change, but it’s still quite warm. (Especially if you’re in the south like me!) So this is the time when I bring out some pieces that look a little autumnal, but pair them with pieces that are timeless or summery. I pulled out this blouse that I wore during spring, but has fall colors, and paired it with this dusty blue skirt that I’ve worn year-round.
Either it’s a rut or a routine, but I seem to wear the same thing every day. Whatever it is, it’s comfortable and easy, and looks halfway decent, even though this antisocial homeschool graduate doesn’t see many people.
Not that I’m really antisocial. But still. If you were to happen upon me on a random day from Monday-Saturday, you’d very likely find me wearing my favorite skirt and tee shirt, which is what this post majorly consists of. Since I don’t wear jeans, I settle for the best alternative – actually, I don’t want an alternative, because I’m very happy wearing a skirt. I’ve never tried on a pair of jeans, but my overalls most certainly are extremely uncomfortable compared to skirts. Anyway, I should just show you instead of rambling on, shouldn’t I?

Hello, my friends! Welcome back to the blog! Today I’m going to be sharing with y’all my top three tips for looking vintage.
A couple of years ago, I was super into the whole 1940s-50s vintage thing! I was so obsessed with it and that was my full-time style! I’ve relaxed into a more casual style now and am wearing clothes that I wouldn’t wear then like maxi dresses and t-shirts, but I’m convinced that I’ll never be able to leave the vintage style completely. Even when I’m wearing something modern I still feel like I look a little vintage! So for those of you who like the retro style as well, here are my tips!
