I have here the last of flower pictures I did last month! I went back to the orchard at golden hour and took more pictures of the blossoms and they were SO. PRETTY. Our mountain laurels started blooming and so did our daisies…so naturally, I got out with my camera and took pictures. ☺ Aren’t they gorgeous, especially in the lighting? I took the pictures of the daisies in the early morning light and AGH it’s so PRETTY!
Back in April, our apple trees were blooming! The whole orchard was white and pink and oh it was lovely. Unfortunately, our trees are rather small, but I can imagine the effect in ten years or so. April and May are my favorite spring months because everything is blooming and budding and it’s oh so very beautiful!
Hi y’all! I am finally back from my very long hiatus…in fact, it was more like a hibernation. XD The past couple of months have been really busy. My family and I went through a really hard time, but God sustained us with His grace and we are so thankful for our supportive friends and family. Now, summer has arrived on the farm and I am back!
Three of our pear trees have been blooming and the other day I thought I’d go out and snap some pictures of it. In the days when I was only a nature photographer, I used to hunt down every single tree or flower I could find with blossoms. My subjects now are mainly people, and while I love portraits, it’s always fun to shoot pure flowers now and again.
For a while, I’ve been very interested in history and farming. Granted, I live on a farm, so let’s say I’ve had plenty of encouragement for that interest, but I’ve found both fields extremely fascinating and enjoyable. When my Granddaddy decided to visit his sister, my Aunt Susan, in TN last month, I asked if I could join him and go see the farm that he grew up on in the sixties.
