I have a question.
HOW IS IT MAY NOW, AND HOW DO WE ONLY HAVE 30 DAYS LEFT UNTIL THE WEDDING, AND WHY ISN’T TIME GOING FASTER?
Leave it to me to ask the deep questions of life. *pondering look*
Anyhoo.
So the beginning of April started. Andrew had a two week furlough, so he came out here to spend NINE WHOLE DAYS WITH ME.
I REPEAT. NINE DAYS. It was epic. We’d never spent more than 3.5 together at a time, so 9 was amazing! Except it felt far too short. Anyway, we got the marriage license, spent a couple afternoons under a tree reading, did a Narnia marathon in the family room with the big projector and surround sound system, and had many, many wonderful evenings by the fire. We even read poetry. It was great.
For your viewing pleasure, here are some random pictures.
I generally dress up the first night Andrew arrives. He’s seen me without makeup A LOT, so he deserves it. 😀
PLEASE IGNORE MY DOUBLE CHIN LIKE WHAT HAPPENED, ARIA??? I need help. XD
The outvitations, as Andrew calls them. XD We worked on erasing the pencil from the lettering on Sunday morning whilst listening to my pastor’s sermon.
We wanted to start the Narnia marathon relatively early, but it wouldn’t be as epic with the light coming in, so Andrew covered the windows with paper. Genius.
Getting the marriage license!
I slept in the library while my room got painted 😀
I’m going to write a whole post about the painting project soon.
We have had random shower gifts come in at different times since my shower was canceled, so every time we open shower gifts, we call it a “scattered shower”. 😉 Actually I think these first two were from March, but. Yeah, cause Andrew got fed up with his hair and cut it. 😀
The rest of April was really busy, but pretty boring. I spent the two weeks after Andrew left working on an office project for my dad, and then we worked on preparing for the wedding! We have a lot of house to clean.
How was your April?
