Grey and White Sheath + Denim Jacket

Hello, my friends!

Here I am again with another transitional outfit! The weather is STILL in the 80s here and that means that, although some people are pulling out their sweaters and boots, I’m still wearing summery clothes. :) However, I’m trying to tone it down and go with neutrals, as you can see here with this outfit!

This sheath dress I’ve had for a few years. I think my mom got it from Marshall’s and I’ve only worn it a few times! I like it fine, but I don’t wear many sheaths.

I’m really not sure why, but most of my dresses are empire waits. I don’t even like empire waists all that much! But they are. This dress has a nice cap sleeve, which is quite attractive, but since it’s fall, I added a denim jacket.

I put some silver earrings with it and of course my dress watch, and added a pop of red lipstick. I was running late to church as I always do on account of having to milk the cow, so I only had time to curl under the ends of my hair. However, I like the straighter style now and then!

This dress is a tad short for me, so I pulled out a handy hack – a white lace dress extender! I got a white one and a navy one recently and I love them. I can’t imagine life without them now!

My shoes are a favorite transitional shoe because they’re halfway between an ankle boot and a sandal! Since they’re a neutral, they pretty much go with everything. The other shoe I’d put with this outfit would be my red pumps, but I decided to go with the sandals this week.

And that’s it! What was your favorite element of this outfit?

Dress: old (option 1 and option 2)

Jacket: old (similar)

Skirt extender: Double Lace Skirt Extender

Shoes: old (but these are a good fall sandal)

Earrings: Earfleek Subscription (similar)

Lipstick: My Minerals (they discontinued the shade I’m wearing but any of their reds are lovely!)
