Right now is kind of a weird season to be in. It’s not quite fall, but it’s not totally summer either, as the temperatures are starting to drop and the leaves are starting to change, but it’s still quite warm. (Especially if you’re in the south like me!) So this is the time when I bring out some pieces that look a little autumnal, but pair them with pieces that are timeless or summery. I pulled out this blouse that I wore during spring, but has fall colors, and paired it with this dusty blue skirt that I’ve worn year-round.
I also added a belt and forgot to take off my sport watch. XD
I used My Minerals Cinnamon Spice lipstick which nearly perfectly matched the poppies on my shirt. Speaking of which, isn’t this shirt just gorgeous? I fell in love with the wildflowers and really wanted it…so I bought it. XD I love the puffy sleeves that are elbow-length, making it a perfect transitional piece.
A dark brown belt added some structure, as both pieces are a little foufy. Yes, that’s a word, spellcheck.
And that’s it, friends! Shoes I would put with this would be neutral flats or dark sandals.
How do you transition to fall? Do you like tulle skirts?
