September Goals | 2019

Hello, friends! I have decided to start doing monthly goal posts (goalposts XD) again! Mostly to motivate myself, but I’d love if y’all shared your goals with me in the comment section!

This month mainly I’m hoping to get on track and in a good routine for the fall. Hard to believe it’s already here! September is going to be a busy month for me, with photoshoots, a book sale, my mom’s birthday, and also life stuff!

I am trying to get a lot more organized because my summer was a little crazy! I’m pretty flexible but I definitely need routine. This month my goals are to get into a good routine, save money, and read. I can’t believe how much I miss out on reading simply from sitting at the computer all day!

  • Get on track with finances
  • Get a credit card
  • Save $500
  • Start and keep a morning routine
  • Start and keep an evening routine
  • Read 5 books on my list
  • Go to the book sale
  • Cook 2x a week
  • Be consistent with social media scheduling
  • Organize out my transitional fall clothing

For me, there is nothing more satisfying than getting in a set routine. I’m really bad at keeping a routine but I’m SO good at scheduling my time – I just don’t follow it! My life is kind of lax but I think this is mostly a self-control, discipline issue. I definitely want to become more disciplined and productive! I am busy but I could accomplish so much more if I just used some productivity tactics.

I didn’t set goals for August, sadly – just weekly goals which were great! I love to crush small goals and setting small ones in my bullet journal almost always ensure that I’ll complete them. So I’m definitely planning to organize small goals by week and crush the bigger ones with that tactic.

What are some of your goals for September? What are you looking forward to? I’d love to hear!

Yay, I love goal posts! Two of my biggest goals for this month are to enjoy and do well at teaching art classes, and also to work on my next poem book and maybe even publish it this month. O.o YIKES.

“I can’t believe how much I miss out on reading simply from sitting at the computer all day!” << that sentence perfectly describes my entire life. XD XD Your goals sound great! I agree…I'm also really bad at keeping a set routine but want to change that soon. Hope you have a lovely September! <3 <3 <3

Sounds like some good goals! I guess one of my September goals is to stay on track with school and not absolutely despise it. XD

Haha oh DEAR Megan, but school is so much fun! Enjoy it. I kind of wish I had taken the time to enjoy it my last couple of years of high school.

Hmm well I think it really does depend on the person and how you do school. And chemistry is awful I’m afraid. But maybe I’ll find a way to enjoy it.

Just recently found your blog and I love it! You have great goals! I tend to write goals too and don’t follow through with most of them… but I’m hoping to this month. 😊
