Modern/Asian Inspired Portraits

I have been taking some photography courses recently and so naturally I wanted to put into play some posing methods I’d been learning when Miss Hannah came over. She was the perfect model to practice on!

We discussed the photoshoot and decided to do a modern/asian inspired shoot. I just love the outfits she chose as well as the props (pocky is so cute, even if I kept mispronouncing it). You probably recognize Hannah from when we did a countryish styled shoot back in the fall. This time of year is so hard because the outdoors is so bare! That’s why I love shooting in urban locations or inside, especially on colder days.

Hannah, you’re such a beautiful girl! I love spending time with you. Thank you for letting me take picture after picture of you and for listening to my crazy detailed posing instructions! I can’t wait to see you rock next few years as you enter high school and graduate…I’m totally going to have to shoot your senior pictures :)

You did such a good job on these photos! I had so much fun hanging out with you too (and eating that yummy pocky 😉 ). The modern/Asian theme was so much fun, and totally me! Thank you for all the time and effort you gave to the shoot! As the Japanese would say, sayonara!
