*Before I start this post, I want to let you know that if you did not get my email titled “Notice” that I sent on the third, please contact me and re-subscribe. Long story.*
Happy September the Eighth, y’all!
Today marks one year, one WHOLE year since I sent this email.
It’s been a whole year of blogging, and just for fun, I thought I should do a flashback. What has changed within a year? A lot.
Summary: Highly edited, grainy and indistinct focal point, shot with my iPod.
Summary: Less editing, clearer photos, shot with my DSLR.
Besides just photography, since then I’ve also increased the frequency and consistency of posts.
Actually, quite a lot more things have changed since then. When I started, I had absolutely NO idea that other teens had blogs too – I’ll admit I thought I was the only one. What an eye-opener when I found Megan, Pepper, Allison, Sophia, Anne and many other teen bloggers! I’ve loved that part of blogging, and I’ve loved the photography part, and I’ve loved, well, all of it! I see blogging as my job, and a year ago, it was just a hobby. Now it’s something I want to do for many years more!
And you know why? It’s not just the photography. It’s not just the writing, because one can’t write and photograph for an empty audience. It’s you! You’ve made blogging so wonderful for me. I appreciate your feedback and your constant reading of my blog. Thank you so much for taking some time out of your day to read what I write and look at my pictures. It means so much and if it wasn’t for you, I wouldn’t be here.
Here’s to another full year of blogging.
