Muesli is definitely a favorite breakfast item in our house. It has gone from a long, overnight process to a quick stir of a few ingredients. However, it all tastes just about the same, either way. This is the short process recipe and is very easy to make. It is full of protein and enzymes from the yogurt, so it is very healthy for you!
My recipe changes all the time depending on what kind of yogurt and fruit we have. Strawberry yogurt? Not a problem. Vanilla? Even better. Blueberry? Got you covered! Any kind of yogurt works great in this, and all are tasty.
*serves about four people*
2 cups yogurt
1 + ¼ cups quick oats
¼-1/3 cup dried fruit (cranberries, cherries, raisins)
Drizzle of honey and a handful of fresh berries
Combine yogurt, oats, dried fruit and stir; drizzle honey and add berries on top.
See! So easy. And delicious. Enjoy!
