Last night I felt like inventing my own recipe of something. I’ve always loved the idea of manufacturing recipes but never had the nerve to do it. I’ve always been worried that the oven would explode or I would light a grease fire or something! (Apparently you’re not supposed to put water on a grease fire, but flour.)
But I needed to start creating recipes for my food.com account and thought, I might just start trying. This soufflé was supposed to be a breakfast casserole, but turned out a little wetter than I thought. Instead of reducing the liquid ingredients, I decided to turn it into a soufflé! So, last night I created my recipe. I didn’t look at any other recipes for guidance or proportions, but crossed my fingers and added two eggs! I put it in the fridge overnight and this morning, I tied on my wrinkled kitty-cat apron to cook it and clean the kitchen to make my mama happy.
So here you have it. I am such a fan of pumpkin flavors that I thought this would definitely go over well. Hope you enjoy!
